WEX is looking to hire Software Engineers to design and build high-quality software solutions that solve problems for employers navigating the competitive business landscape, ensuring the highest quality and utilizing test-driven development practices.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Build high availability and resilient systems which can scale quickly.
- Strengthen and drive our engineering process with TDD and BDD, Microservice and Vertical Slice Architectures.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language and an enthusiasm to learn others.
- Languages we use and teach: C, Go and Java.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to design, build, and iterate on world-class product experiences, defining product scope and design.
- Ownership for the entirety of your features; including API design, implementation, automated testing, and rollout.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Build high availability and resilient systems which can scale quickly.
- Strengthen and drive our engineering process with TDD and BDD, Microservice and Vertical Slice Architectures.
- Develop and execute against both short- and long-term roadmaps, make effective technical trade-offs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
- Support live applications, promote proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement.

- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
