Requirements
- Experience with Java and ideally an understanding of object-oriented design.
- Comfortable working in Linux or Mac environments.
- Basic understanding of linear and/or mixed integer programming and convex optimisation
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of basic financial products is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with your team to design, build, and improve Java-based applications.
- Experiment with new tools and techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Take part in code reviews, debugging sessions, and team discussions.
- Share ideas and contribute to features that could go live in production.
- Learn industry best practices and explore how software drives global markets.
Other
- In the penultimate year of your undergraduate or final year of an Undergraduate degree and plan to continue onto Masters for academic year 2026/27.
- Ideal students will be studying Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Ideal candidates will have the rights to work in Norwell without restrictions for the duration of the internship programme.
