WEX Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join their Summer 2026 program to gain hands-on experience and contribute to impactful projects that align with the company's product roadmap and business goals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and will have completed at least your Sophomore year of school at the start of the internship.
- You have some experience with at least one programming language like Java, Python, C/.NET or JavaScript.
- You have some experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and SSO (SAML, OAuth)
- You have a solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers to design, develop, and test new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Present your project and share your learnings with the team and company leadership.
