Hypertherm Associates is looking for a software engineer to develop diagnostic and testing tools to enhance software quality and support customer success. Specifically, the role involves creating a diagnostic tool for identifying motion control issues in embedded software and extending an automated testing framework to support a new power supply.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Python, C++, C-Sharp or other object-oriented languages
- Academic Experience with Software Development and Design
Responsibilities
- Design and Development of motion analysis diagnostic tool
- Prototyping of Diagnostic Tool Screens
- Perform functional reviews of diagnostic tool
- Participating in Agile / Scrum ceremonies
- Documentation of key functionality
- contribute to our automated testing framework by extending the capabilities to include ability to support our XPR power supply
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills
