Responsibilities
- Assesses and conducts projects and processes in support of various departments.
- Develops and implements complex supply chain solutions that span various transportation modes and include logistics and technology capability across all business units of ArcBest.
- Develop a solution designed to meet requirements of various departments, customers, and ArcBest subsidiary companies.
- Manage a key project during the internship that is focused around supply chain solutions including consolidation, pool distribution, mode optimization, and process improvement.
- Complete fast track training on transportation, logistics, and supply chain within the ArcBest business.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Other
- Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
- Job shadow various roles within Enterprise Customer Solutions within the first 4 weeks.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Business, or Engineering Major, preferred
- Completed Junior academic year, preferred
- Available for travel, as needed.
