Pratt & Whitney is seeking to develop and certify military and commercial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems, and is looking for an Engineering Intern to join the Engine System Software organization to support this effort.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with Agile Framework
- Experience with software development and verification
- Experience working with embedded systems
- Programming skills in languages such as C, C++, or Java
- Experience with software testing and validation
Responsibilities
- Develop software requirements and designs within the Agile Framework
- Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software requirements and designs
- Conduct iterative prototype testing of requirements and designs
- Perform software verification within the Agile Framework
- Conduct regression analysis to determine verification scope
- Develop / review software test descriptions with traceability to software requirements

- U.S. citizenship is required
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary/multi-project team environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on-site at West Palm Beach, FL location
