Requirements
- Finite element experience
- Experience with NASTRAN
- Experience with structural vibration
Responsibilities
- Conduct engine loads modeling and analysis for new and existing fleet engine designs
- Conduct engine dynamics analysis
- Work directly with design integration, engine program, hardware owners, and engine test to assure engine loads requirements are understood and implemented
- Define instrumentation requirements to measure engine loads
- Perform a wide range of engine structural loads analysis in support of engine programs including static, modal, and transient dynamic analyses
- Monitor loads and vibration during engine testing, assess and communicate results, and participate on teams troubleshooting engine issues during test and in the field
Other
- Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
