Pratt & Whitney is seeking an intern to support the Engine Life Management Team in designing, building, and servicing engines, specifically providing aftermarket support of the geared turbofan (GTF) fleet.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in Unigraphics/NX, or equivalent 3D modeling software, is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
Responsibilities
- Direct interfacing opportunities with engineering management, program management, aftermarket suppliers and engine shops.
- Design support of Limits and Repair tasks.
- Onsite representation of the CIPT supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Coordinate and lead resources to meet technical, development and production requirements
- Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, product improvement, and repair task activities.
- Liaise between engine shops, Customer Technical Services (CTS), Engine Services, etc., regarding investigation scope and implementation.
- Prepare and present status and technical content to CIPT and upper Pratt & Whitney management.

- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- 10% travel required
