Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Mechanical Hardware Systems Intern to develop, integrate, and certify lubrication, pneumatic, and thermal management subsystems and hardware for Civil and Military customers, addressing the entire system life cycle from technology development to field issue resolution.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
Responsibilities
- Owner of one or more control component specifications
- Coordinate hardware item Flight Safety/ Safety requirements
- Responsible for technical resolution of supplier compliance gaps
- Technical & Project Owner for Supplier Reviews
- Supplier development validation testing (DVT) issue resolution
- Hardware development engine test readiness
- Hardware item component Cert/Qualification (36-point Checklist) (Plans, Reports)
