Pratt & Whitney is seeking to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing engines, and is looking for an intern to support the development and validation of aircraft engine systems
Requirements
- Analyzing and interpreting large datasets to analyze risk
- Using existing system engineering risk models
- Developing predictive models
- Applying statistical models
- Designing and implementing data visualization dashboards and reports
- Developing and publishing new knowledge assets within EKS
- Communicating results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models to forecast risk factors in support of engine validation planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and other stakeholders to define engine validation data requirements and analyze datasets
- Apply statistical models to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in engine validation datasets to extract actionable insights
- Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively
- Develop and publish new knowledge assets within EKS (ESW, K-Packs, GB, training, etc.)
- Communicate results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner
- Work on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need
