Pratt & Whitney is seeking Project Engineer interns to support a variety of basic activities within the Survivability Discipline Group. The role involves managing capital projects, developing scope documents, leading process improvement initiatives, and driving environmental health & safety (EH&S) change initiatives to advance the company's mission in aerospace and defense.
Requirements
- OSHA Certifications (30-hour General Industry)
- Experience producing technical documents
- Experience developing specifications, scope of work documents, and financial justifications
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and execution of various capital projects
- Cradle to grave execution of EH&S management of change (MOC) initiatives
- Manage the receipt of purchase requisition (PR) requests and support PR submissions in procurement tools
- Estimate, track, and report project costs and schedules
Other
- Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
- Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
