Micron Technology is looking for enthusiastic interns to join their state-of-the-art research and development fabrication facility to gain a basic knowledge of the semiconductor water purification and waste treatment process.
Requirements
- Mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Intermediate PC skills
Responsibilities
- On the job training for preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
- Provide troubleshooting support for equipment-related problems and address root causes.
- Improve reliability by investigating chronic problems and finding solutions.
- Maintain documentation, including observations and work performed.
- Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches on safety and quality issues.
- Receive training and participate in area continuous improvement programs.
- Partner with operations technicians and water engineers/technicians to complete daily priorities that improve learning cycles.
Other
- Must be enrolled in an AAS in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, Wastewater Treatment Plant Technology, or related 2 year field of study program!
- Encouraged completion of degree between December 2026 and June 2027
- Relocating to Boise, Idaho to complete a 3-month internship
- Must be willing to relocate to Boise if offered a full time role after internship.
- Complete required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies.
