Navy Federal Credit Union is looking to perform risk and vulnerability remediation & mitigation on end-user computing devices
Requirements
- Novice knowledge of technical inter-relationships between software/hardware and desktop/Host systems
- Novice skill in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
- Basic understanding of research frameworks
- Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) & Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Ability to document and apply policies, standards and procedures
- Minor experience in presenting technical solutions and/or recommendations
- Qualified degree program in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial contact for vulnerability related issues and answering questions regarding software/hardware vulnerabilities in the End User Computing environment
- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals in benefit of vulnerability remediation
- Imaging of desktop and laptop computers – knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) & Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Conduct remote and in-person vulnerability remediation/ troubleshooting
- Update desktop applications to meet compliance requirements and user needs
- Perform monthly patch remediation on non-compliant workstations
- Clearly and thoroughly document vulnerability remediation efforts within NFCU’s IT Service Management tool (ServiceNow) and track any escalations

- A requirement of this position is you must be currently enrolled in college level courses or a degree-seeking program throughout the duration of the internship
