3M is seeking an Undergraduate Marketing Intern to support the Consumer Business Group (CBG) in addressing real challenges faced by 3M’s business units through marketing projects, contributing to the development, marketing, and distribution of consumer products.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited institution
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Marketing or Business Analytics from an accredited institution
- Completion of two of the required class in the major, minor or concentration
Responsibilities
- Working on projects that represent real challenges faced by 3M’s business units
- Research, analyze and identify key insights from assessing internal and external data
- Developing positioning strategy, brand strategy, value propositions, channel strategy, and pricing strategy
- Developing marketing content, including message development, eMarketing and social media integration, and creative strategy
- Executing and measuring program implementation, program measurement, optimization strategies, and resource management
- Conducting trend analysis, segmentation, customer insights, competitive analysis, brand analysis, and digital marketing analysis
- Developing and displaying effective project management skills
Other
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited institution
- Must have completed a minimum of junior year (6 semesters) by the start of the internship
- Must have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Must work on-site, with the employee working at least four (4) days a week in the office at 3M Center, located in Maplewood, MN
- Expected graduation year is 2026
