Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking Engineering Interns to support their software development processes, verify software requirements, implement firmware/software design, and provide support to engineers and customers, ultimately contributing high-quality work that adds value to the company.
Requirements
- programming experience in OO programming languages and experience using a variety of scripting languages
- ability to execute and document defined testing procedures
- knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- practical knowledge development Microsoft Windows applications
- experience using revision control and source code management systems
Responsibilities
- Supporting SEL’s software development processes.
- Verifying that software meets requirements.
- Implementing firmware/software design.
- Providing support to SEL engineers and customers.
- Following engineering quality assurance procedures.
- Continuously identifying, measuring, and improving processes.
