La-Z-Boy is looking for self-motivated and energetic interns to join their IT Department at their World HQ in Monroe, MI. The goal is to provide interns with practical, hands-on experience in IT while developing their business acumen and knowledge of La-Z-Boy's business strategy and processes.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) a must
Responsibilities
- Support the IT Department at La-Z-Boy’s World HQ in Monroe, MI.
- Participation in projects related to IT.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor’s degree or Master's program focused on IT with 2-3 years completed
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a team based environment as well as individually
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
- Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for success in this position
- Ability to travel may be required.
- The La-Z-Boy internship program will follow our hybrid work model, with the ability to work remote two days a week.
