The data science & analytics team at Zebra supports the marketing organization by building models to measure engagement, prioritize leads, and understand customer intent. This internship aims to improve the process of understanding customers and potential customers, making it easier for the sales team to target accounts for purchase.
Requirements
- Knowledge & experience in programming in Python & SQL
- Proficient in math & statistics
- Interest in applying data science & analytics to marketing & business-related problems
- Experience coding in PySpark
- Experience working in Databricks, or a similar platform
- Coursework completed on Machine Learning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Lead priority model: improvements to prioritizing which leads are targeted by sales teams vs those that go into the marketing nurture loop
- Customer Signals: alert system for accounts that are indicating an intent to purchase
- Product IQ: build a holistic view of our products, including sales, campaign engagement, inventory & more to help marketing prioritize which products to target in campaigns
- Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Increase technology knowledge and skills
- Develop team-based work proficiencies
- Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities
Other
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Data Science, Marketing/Business Analytics, Math/Stats or Business Information Systems
- Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2026-2028
- Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
