Tesla is looking to build user experiences that power the ecosystem of Tesla Solar, Powerwall, and Vehicle products, aiming to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy by building user-friendly interfaces.
Requirements
- Fluency in a mobile app or reactive web framework required, with preference for React Native and TypeScript
- High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance
Responsibilities
- Build new functionality in the Tesla App using TypeScript and React Native on the front end and Go on the back end
- Work embedded within the Energy Product, Design, and Engineering teams while crafting new features as we transform the future of energy
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a similar degree program with an emphasis in Mobile App development, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, an ability to learn quickly, and a passion for moving fast and building great things with great visual polish
- Passion for Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy
- This position is expected to start around January 2026 and continue through the Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2026) or continuing into Summer 2026 if available and there is an opportunity to do so.
- We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
