The Technology Services team at a global financial administration company is looking for interns to assist in the development and support of systems that help the business meet internal and external client needs, aiming to solve technical challenges with code and improve system efficiency, innovation, and reliability.
Requirements
- Experience in programming languages and operation systems including Perl, XML and SQL
Responsibilities
- assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and databases using appropriate languages and tools
- gain hands-on experience with unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- investigating technical issues under the guidance of senior developers
- contribute to documenting new or updated business and operational support procedures
- exposure to real-time production environments
- potential to participate in an on-call support rotation, ensuring system stability and responsiveness outside of regular business hours
- automating repetitive tasks, optimizing data workflows, debugging code, or supporting live applications
