VSP Vision is looking to provide aspiring Computer Science professionals with practical experience in Software Engineering to expand their skillset and apply theoretical knowledge in a real-life business environment. The SAP Software Engineering Internship aims to support a dynamic team across primary functions, gain broad experience in enterprise operations, and develop critical business competencies.
Requirements
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, especially FI (Financial Accounting) modules
- Experience with data validation, testing, or system configuration is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Financial systems, supporting system enhancements and integrations within SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance (CFIN).
- Assist in onboarding newly acquired entities, contributing to data mapping, system configuration, and testing activities.
- Exposure includes cross-functional collaboration with IT and Finance teams, understanding enterprise architecture, and participating in real-world ERP implementation and post-go-live support.
Other
- 3rd or 4th year college
- Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of financial processes such as GL, AP, AR, and intercompany transactions
- Ability to analyze and document technical requirements and business processes
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and external partners
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace
- Access to high-speed internet
