The SIMULIA R&D group is looking to enhance daily operations by developing innovative solutions, specifically a Mistral LLM-based chatbot that consolidates critical data from various information sources to help teams make meaningful, data-driven conclusions.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Python
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph
- Coursework/experience with large datasets
- Demonstrated knowledge of ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning and algorithms that provide predictive insights
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD modeling tools (plus)
- Cloud Computing & HPC technologies and environments (plus)
Responsibilities
- Help drive the collection of necessary information needed to define requirements from key stakeholders
- Assist in defining and implementing the architecture to allow the chatbot to collect and connect both structured and unstructured information from various internal R&D data sources
- Collect and connect both structured and unstructured information from various internal R&D data sources
- Provide clear, concise and precise output to gain new insights to help assess issues and downstream impacts on quality and readiness for a software release
- Develop a Mistral LLM-based chatbot
- Implement the architecture to allow the chatbot to collect data from R&D schedules and plans, status of cloud test environments and services, new functionality under development, regression test planned, test results, software defects, and unstructured conversations stored in internal social collaboration apps
- Integrate the chatbot with different data sources
Other
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI or Data Science
- Pro-active communicator with very strong verbal and written English language skills
- Strong attention to details, self-starter with strong follow-up skills
- Enjoy problem solving with strong critical thinking skills and passion to learn
- Ability to work 40 hours per week onsite at the Johnston, RI office
