Zebra Technologies is looking to develop dynamic solutions that anticipate customer and partner needs, and solve their challenges in the retail and transportation and logistics market by designing and developing Android-based handheld touch computers and mobile computers.
Requirements
- Programming languages: Java, Python, and/or C/C++
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Familiar with Android or other mobile OS application and UI development
- Familiar with Linux command line and Ubuntu is a plus
Responsibilities
- Intern project will be given by the lead SW developer (along with the intern), which will be one of the following areas: Android applications, Android internals (Framework, background services), Kernel device driver, Bootloader
- Perform research on the topic of choice (with help from senior developer)
- Developing proof of concept SW (or HW prototype)
- Present finding/progress/issues to internal team every other week
- Presenting final intern presentation at the end of the internship
Other
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2026 - 2029
- Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
