At Zebra, the business problem is to develop dynamic solutions that anticipate customer’s and partner’s needs and solve their challenges, and the Supplies & Sensors Research and Development team is responsible for testing and evaluating Zebra’s product offerings and driving development and innovation to positively impact customer experience.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Data Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience working in a Lab
- Strong problem solving ability
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
Responsibilities
- Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills

- Process Automation: Design and implement scripts or software solutions to automate repetitive tasks, optimizing workflow efficiency and reducing manual intervention
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance evaluations by measuring read range, data accuracy, and signal strength under various conditions and environments
- Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify the physical integrity and functionality of materials to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from RFID tests, identifying patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and documenting findings in detailed reports
