The Mosaic Company is looking to enhance the visibility of raw material inventory from mine loading to site stockpile and refine finished goods inventory reporting through automated daily reports.

Requirements

  • Sophomore level or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science or Computer engineering
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Experience working in a team environment is a must
  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred
  • Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment
  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor raw material movement from mine loading to stockpile, ensuring accurate balance records.
  • Assist in tracking finished goods inventory levels based on production inputs and outbound shipping data.
  • Support daily automated inventory report generation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Compare production forecasts with actual data, identifying variances and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure inventory planning aligns with operational needs.
  • Provide accurate inventory information to stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
  • Help track and manage rail car and truck movements, ensuring timely shipments.

Other

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
  • Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
