GQG Partners is looking for an Investment Analyst to identify and recommend stocks that can create a material impact on their investment portfolio, contributing to the firm's goal of helping investors secure their financial future.
Requirements
- Analyze data using mathematical models, statistical tools, and other software.
- Interpret and forecast trends relating to financial markets.
- Review wide variety and diverse set of industries, sectors, and organizations.
Responsibilities
- Work independently on a high volume and broad range of stock ideas.
- Develop clear, concise, and insightful write-ups with rapid pace.
- Recommend stocks, that create a material impact on the book.
- Communicate recommendations to the PM team in a clear, concise and effective manner.
- Over time develop the ability to source ideas across a wide range of countries and sectors.
- Research economic issues related to investment opportunities across various sectors.
- Analyze data using mathematical models, statistical tools, and other software.
Other
- 2-3 years of relevant experience (minimum 1.5 years of investment banking experience).
- Strong academic background including Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or similar.
- Passionate - strong personal interest in the art of public markets investing.
- Self-starter – ability to work on deliverables and projects alone.
- Pro-active, self-driven, and self-motivated.
