Requirements
- Experience with Apple development environments (iOS/macOS) SwiftUI, UIKit, and AppKit
- Strong technical foundation and hands-on experience shipping high-quality user features
- High attention to detail, with a deep understanding of UI and system design trade-offs
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Growth: Hire, mentor, and support a team of talented engineers
- Product Execution & Delivery: Partner with designers, product owners, and engineering peers to define and deliver user-facing features
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Represent Spotlight UI across the organization and work closely with system software teams, platform architects, and UX designers
- Strategic Thinking & Prioritization: Help the team focus on what matters most and guide the team to make thoughtful, data-informed decisions
- System-Level Understanding: Quickly ramp up on the broader system architecture and connect the dots between frameworks, UI layers, and platform capabilities
