Apple is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to manage the development and implementation process for one of their iPhone Product Design teams, focusing on mechanical engineering design, development planning, and validation cycles of new iPhones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined experience in NPI project management and mechanical engineering
  • Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • managing the development and implementation process for one of our iPhone Product Design teams
  • deep dive into material fundamentals
  • creatively solve challenging logistics and technical problems
  • collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary teams
  • Create and manage project schedules
  • Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management
  • Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making

  • Provide project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive management
