Northrop Grumman is seeking an IPT Software Design Manager 3 to lead the software design team for an extremely complex system comprised of multiple segments incorporating mature and emerging technologies. This role involves progressing and maturing the segment, supporting critical engineering reviews, and performing both technical and functional management duties.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance is required.
- Demonstrated experience with completing architectural studies, software design synthesis, technical baseline definition, requirements & interface management
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering fundamentals, principles, and processes, specifically system architecture and design synthesis
- Strong understanding of software design principles, computer architecture, and relevant technologies
- Proficiency in working with real-time embedded software
- Experience creating system and interface definitions through the creation of Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs) and Internal Block Definition Diagrams (IBDs)
- Experience with hardware/software integration, test planning & execution, or operational support
Responsibilities

- Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w. Polygraph prior to start
