The company is looking for an intern to support cutting-edge projects and gain experience in technology research and project management. The intern will assist with new technologies research, IRAD project schedule updates and metrics reporting, 'What's Next for Waco' project support, and meeting support for IRAD and New Technologies projects.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and provide detailed reports and insights to support the Chief Engineer (CE) for IRAD and New Technologies in strategic decision-making.
- Update project schedules and compile metrics for IRAD (Independent Research and Development) projects to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of progress.
- Assist the CE in identifying and implementing WNFW action items, contributing to the successful execution of these initiatives.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings related to IRAD and New Technologies projects, including preparing materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline).
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
