NextEra Energy Resources is looking to solve the problem of delivering AI-powered and enabled IT solutions to their Power Generation Division by hiring an intern who can learn and contribute to the development of these solutions within the AWS cloud ecosystem.
Requirements
- Understanding of web development principles and modern frameworks
- Familiarity with coding languages such as C, Python, JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services and AI/ML platforms
- Proficiency with AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI APIs)
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI workflow optimization
- Cloud Systems, Web Technologies, and AI/ML Platforms
- Information Programming and API Integration
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web application solutions with AI integration
- Implementation of Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies
- Engage and collaborate with business partners on AI solution requirements
- Learn to work with various areas of IT: cybersecurity, infrastructure, application development, and AI/ML operations

- To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
