Batteries Plus is looking for an IT Application Developer I to support the design, development, and maintenance of custom software applications that keep their business running efficiently.
Requirements
- Proficiency with: Languages/Frameworks: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C-Sharp, ADO.NET, ASP.NET MVC
- Proficiency with: Tools/Technologies: Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, JavaScript
- Exposure to: SharePoint, BizTalk, LINQ, Entity Framework, Azure DevOps, TFS, jQuery, XSL/XSLT, WCF, or automated testing frameworks
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of custom software applications based on user and business requirements
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established standards and best practices
- Test, debug, and validate software to ensure quality and performance
- Collaborate with analysts and developers to identify system improvements and enhance user experiences
- Support the deployment and installation of new applications and updates
- Analyze existing applications to identify defects and recommend improvements
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of software development experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
