The Employment Security Department (ESD) needs to develop, enhance, implement, and maintain high-visibility Workforce and Career Development applications and systems to support job seeker services, employer engagement, and re-employment efforts. This role ensures essential systems remain operational, reliable, and responsive to user needs, carrying agency-wide, statewide, national, and multi-agency significance.
Requirements
- Salesforce workflows and Lightning Web Component development.
- API development to retrieve data from multiple data sources such as NGTS, SKIES, ETO and UTAB in order to address policy and program requirements.
- Review technical requirements defined by business customers and identify, develop, and conduct automated unit tests, systems performance, and load testing to ensure the code is functioning as designed.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve/combine data to address business questions.
- Experience in Azure ADO and CICD processes.
- Development experience in Salesforce technology stack/infrastructure.
- Experience in Entity Framework, HTML5, or developing SQL/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS servers.

- A combination of education and/or relevant IT experience totaling six (6) years of IT experience performing closely related duties.
- OR: Associate’s degree in computer science or closely related field and four (4) years of IT experience performing closely related duties.
- OR: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field and two (2) years of IT experience performing closely related duties.
- Communication skills – clearly communicate and understand information based on the knowledge of the audience.
- Workload management skills – Work efficiently, remain focused, and handle interruptions effectively.
