Santander is looking to solve business and technical challenges by leveraging emerging technologies, infrastructure basics, and system integration, with a specific focus on the transformation journey towards an Agentic AI platform. The internship aims to provide students with practical experience and understanding in these areas.
Requirements
- Exposure to any of the following Language or Systems: Python, SQL, JIRA, AWS Bedrock, IBM WatsonX, Insight Fluid, ChatGPT, CoPilot (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assists in the creation of documentation and definitions for technical systems, processes, business rules and data
- Researching new technologies and components
- Ensure Application information is correct and updated as required
- Special Project work related to strategic initiatives within the bank – could be related to Channel applications, Loan Systems, Mobile / Online Banking, CRM, Operations
Other
- An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027
- Area of Study:Information Technology, IT Program Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or any other related major of study
- Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage
- Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required
- Analytical thinkers with a strong attention to detail
- Organized and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently on special projects
- Ability to effectively contribute to a team environment
- Coursework in or exposure to accounting, finance, economics, or business.(Preferred)
- Experience in Microsoft Office products. (Preferred)
