The Office of State Examiner (OSE) needs an IT Applications Developer to support and advance its technology systems, including the Jurisdiction Management System and testing databases, by leading the development, integration, and maintenance of applications.

Responsibilities
- Develop custom code and scripts to build, enhance and maintain databases
- Use Microsoft Power Apps as a primary coding tool
- Oversee the integration of Power Apps, SQL Server, and cloud-based or third-party solutions
- Leverage coding best practices to optimize system performance and automate business processes
- Oversee application lifecycle management, including security protocols, performance optimization, and user interface enhancements
- Evaluate emerging technologies and strategic vendor partnerships to advance OSE’s technology capabilities.

- Engage with OSE leadership, staff, stakeholders and public users to proactively access needs, gather feedback, and dive continuous improvement of technology solutions
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in computer science with emphasis on coding, informatics, web development, or application development are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Three years of experience in information technology; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in information technology; OR An associate's degree in information technology plus one year of experience in information technology; OR A bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience in information technology; OR A bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field; OR A master’s degree.
- A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion, provided the appointment is made from a Certificate of Eligibles.
- Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
