Nebraska DHHS is looking to enhance and maintain the statewide Child Support Enforcement system (CHARTS) by hiring an IT Applications Developer to support the web-based portion of the application.
Requirements
- Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications.
- Software Development Lifecycle including Analysis, Design, solution development and evaluation of alternative solutions.
- Use of Eclipse development software
- Java and Java Servlet knowledge.
- .NET knowledge
- Use of Java Server Faces Framework
- XML, JSP, EJB, DHTML, CSS, SQL Server, JavaScript and HTML Coding.
Responsibilities
- responsible for all phases of software development activities for Web assignments in a large-scale IT environment using DB2.
- Be taught on-site the use of Appeon Powerbuilder software that is used for the Client Server online system.
- Software development activities include requirements gathering, analysis, functional and technical design, construction and testing, implementation, and production support.
- Work closely with business analysts, other technical analysts, managers, and business sponsors.
- Code, debug, test and document computer programs,
- Write clear, understandable program code, design and code complex algorithms
- Maintain and modify existing web applications;

- Associate Degree in Data Processing or equivalent with course work in the following:
