QTS is looking to solve problems related to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations through its summer internship program
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, etc.
Responsibilities
- Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for assigned projects
- Develop scopes of work for design, configuration, and commissioning of new workflow or storage areas and associated assets
- Participate in procurement and project cost estimates
- Assist with data interpretation, correlation, and reporting
- Work on technology procurement and delivery processes with the strategic procurement team
- Monitor the status and availability of in-production technologies
- Respond to break-fix issues and coordinate long-term corrective actions
Other
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Must be a US Citizen
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries
