Family Dollar is seeking a Data Integration Developer to develop integrations using tools like Oracle Integration Cloud, Python, Java, and PL/SQL to support internal implementations and rollouts across capability PODs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting integrations on Oracle integration cloud (OIC) or Java or Python or PL/SQL required
- Expertise in writing SQL required
- 3+ years’ experience in writing integrations from various sources/destinations like databases, files, message queues, APIs required
- Knowledge of services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery type technologies
- GCP, OCI certifications (a plus)
- Experience in other integration tools like Talend, Informatica (a plus)
- Familiarity with Google Bigquery, Bigtable a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support integration solutions using technologies such as: Oracle integration cloud(OIC), Python, Java, PL/SQL
- Work with cloud engineering staff, develop team members, and implement best practices and procedures
- Optimize cloud integration designs for optimal performance, reduced cost, and security standards
- Help implement automation tools and processes for integration solutions
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure standards are maintained
- Maintaining documentation on integrations and help support teams’ knowledge on the integrations built
- Perform analysis and programming tasks when required
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or commensurate experience (7+ years) in IT development roles
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
