The IT Business Insurance department of Cincinnati Insurance has a need for a developer to join one of its product teams. This team owns a mission-critical solution utilized both internally and externally by our customers for policy management.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of development experience
- experience in XML development
- understands and uses development patterns and design best practices
- experience working in the Scrum framework
- experience as an Agile Dev Team Member
Responsibilities
- design, development, unit testing, and maintenance of the product
- implement and update functionality for the application
- practicing the values of Courage, Focus, Commitment, Respect, and Openness is expected as part of the team’s working agreement
- The primary technology used in this position is an XML-based proprietary programming language
- A working knowledge of XML technologies and fundamental programming techniques are the core of this position
Other
- it is mandatory for all IT associates to have cameras turned on for all interactions with other associates, customers, and stakeholders
