The IT Life Development team at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is looking to hire an application developer to develop new and maintain existing applications that support all areas of the insurance process for The Cincinnati Life Insurance Company. They aim to utilize new technologies to bring enhanced capabilities to their life insurance operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with C-Sharp, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Web Technologies (ASP.NET MVC)
- 2+ years of experience with Angular for front-end development
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and CSS
- strong willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- experience with RESTful API development and integration
- knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- use C-Sharp, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to design, develop, and enhance new and existing application solutions
- work with MVC (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Bootstrap, and SQL
- work on project teams throughout the software development life cycle
- understand and learn real time and batch solutions
- participate in code reviews
- provide on-call and after-hours support when required

- Work location and flexibility are subject to change based on evolving business needs
- must be flexible and available to travel to Fairfield, OH, on an occasional basis for special events, training sessions, or key meetings
