The Senior Development and Engineering Manager – Retail Data is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and management of data applications, systems, and platforms that support retail operations. This role ensures the integrity, accessibility, and security of retail data across multiple channels, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience managing direct reports in application integrations, data, and event-driven architecture
- Experience implementing and managing data governance frameworks and data quality initiatives within a retail environment, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across customer, product, and transaction data domains
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka) and systems preferably in a cloud environment.
- Experience in application development and integration technologies, middleware, APIs and web services including IBM MQ, Java, and Spring Boot.

- Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters to shorten the systems delivery lifecycle and provide a continuous delivery platform.

- Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives within cloud development to ensure high-quality performance and user experience.
