Requirements
- Must be a current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field to qualify (rising juniors and seniors, preferred).
- Demonstrates an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of various technologies (not specified).
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Ability to create and execute unit test cases.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot software issues.
- Ability to participate in code reviews and contribute to discussions on software design and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for underwriting.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using various technologies.
- Create and execute unit test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to discussions on software design and architecture.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly to support business processes and resolve issues.
- Work cross-functionally with peers and leaders to complete an Action Learning Project.
