World Emblem is looking to enhance and optimize its eCommerce systems to drive its multi-channel commerce strategy.
Requirements
- In depth experience with the .Net platform
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server relational databases, tables, stored procedures, views, functions
- Experience developing to architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Strong hands-on experience with both Optimizely/EpiServer and BigCommerce
- Proficiency in related web technologies (C-Sharp, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP APIs)
- Demonstrated track record in eCommerce site development, troubleshooting, and optimization
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain eCommerce websites and applications using Optimizely/EpiServer and BigCommerce.
- Architect, design, develop and support enterprise software.
- New development will be primarily Asp.Net/C-Sharp/Sql Server
- Build unit and integration tests, and integrate with Continuous Integration/Deployment utilizing Azure DevOps
- Designing SQL Database tables, stored procedures, etc.
- Optimizing for fault tolerance and performance
- Analyzing and troubleshooting existing applications that in some cases will have little to no documentation.
Other
- Working within small teams (1-3 developers) in a nimble/fast-paced environment.
- Participate in multiple Agile teams
- Work directly with the BA and QA team members to ensure that business requirements are met, and test cases are covered.
- In some cases, you will be required to fill the BA and/or QA role depending on resource availability
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and IT teams to deliver seamless and scalable online shopping experiences.
