Eversource is looking to hire a Software Engineer to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design, and to work on projects currently being developed by the company.
Requirements
- Does impactful and meaningful code reviews
- Effectively uses build automation tools such as Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops
- Familiar and effectively uses cloud services or industry standard frameworks
- Easily picks up new tools and incorporates them effectively into applications
- Comfortable working within Agile framework
- Writes automated tests for their work
- Able to refactor and abstract common problems into reusable components or services
Responsibilities
- developing and directing software system validation and testing methods
- directing our software programming initiatives
- defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, Ruby on Rails or .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.)
