Eversource is looking to hire an IT Software Engineer to develop and direct software system validation and testing methods, as well as lead software programming initiatives for projects currently in development.
Requirements
- writing code in various languages, like Java, Ruby on Rails or .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.)
- familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment
- Does impactful and meaningful code reviews
- Effectively uses build automation tools such as Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops
- Familiar and effectively uses cloud services or industry standard frameworks
- Writes automated tests for their work
- Able to refactor and abstract common problems into reusable components or services
