LPL Financial is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist to transform data into actionable insights, develop intuitive dashboards, and ensure data integrity and reliability to help clients pursue their financial goals with confidence.
Requirements
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, data analytics, and business intelligence tools including Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and Kinetix.
- Experience with SQL and other data querying languages.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with dashboard and monitoring tool views design.
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
- ITIL Foundations knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and Kinetix.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in reports and dashboards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data management and reporting processes.
- Develop and Maintain process and technical documentation.
- Conduct regular data audits and implement measures to address data quality issues.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy department.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
