Nebraska DHHS is seeking an IT Information Security Developer to help proactively safeguard our technology environment through advanced vulnerability analysis, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Experience with determining compliance with information technology security vulnerability scanning OR education in field of cybersecurity.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues.
- Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI and Python applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform gap analysis of current systems
- Develop methods for continuous monitoring of workstations and server vulnerabilities
- Analyze data to determine compliance with policies and procedures
- Create data structure to better support assessments of governance, risk and compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
- Support remediation actions
- Provide guidance on compliance as the subject matter expert
- Create supporting documentation

- This is a full-time/permanent on-site role in Lincoln, Nebraska.
