Qualcomm is looking for interns to help establish new standards for tomorrow's technologies by leveraging their degrees to make an immediate impact on Qualcomm's numerous technologies within the IT Infrastructure & Cloud track.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Practical experience developing software or meeting operational needs with code and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Java)
- Experience with automation tools development, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), source control management, software integration, scripting, and working in a DevOps environment (e.g., Ansible)
- Experience in IT infrastructure, networking, infrastructure automation, end-user services, collaboration, and communication tools
- Knowledge of servers (physical, virtual), cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP), and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Python web development experience
Responsibilities
- Leverage your degree to make an immediate impact on one of Qualcomm’s numerous technologies.
- Be aligned to projects within the IT Infrastructure & Cloud track.
- Develop software or meet operational needs with code and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Java).
- Develop automation tools, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), source control management, software integration, scripting, and work in a DevOps environment (e.g., Ansible).
- Gain experience in IT infrastructure, networking, infrastructure automation, end-user services, collaboration, and communication tools.
- Gain knowledge of servers (physical, virtual), cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP), and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Gain Python web development experience.

- Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2026 (May–September)
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2026 and June 2027
- Relocation coverage and furnished housing accommodations for the duration of your internship.
- If an export license is required, you may not be able to start work with Qualcomm until the license is granted, which may impact your ability to participate in the internship.
