Pella Corporation Information Technology department needs proactive services to manage and implement projects that will improve Pella’s information technology systems processes.

Requirements

  • SharePoint Online and OneDrive
  • Exchange Online
  • Copilot
  • DLP and Microsoft Defender
  • Unix & Linux servers
  • Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment and software solutions

Responsibilities

  • Executing projects with Pella's Windows server environment, desktop computing solutions, and/or key end-user computing initiatives.
  • Emphasis is on Microsoft infrastructure solutions (Windows Server 2019-2025, Hyper-V, Windows 11, Exchange, Active Directory, SQL Server, System Center - SCVMM, SCOM, Configuration Manager, Intune, Jamf, Veeam)
  • Past projects have included migrating data to SharePoint Online and OneDrive, migrating to Exchange Online, rolling out Copilot to the business, and securing company data with DLP and Microsoft Defender.
  • Projects in this area include hardware/software setup and installation, enhancements to management processes, and/or operational support issues.
  • This group additionally supports storage area networking.
  • Supporting or designing solutions for Pella’s LAN, WAN, Video, and Voice networks.
  • Emphasis is on Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment and software solutions.

Other

  • Pursuing a B.S. from a four-year college or university in an information technology field, preferable MIS or Computer Science
  • Strong academic candidate
  • Experience with team leadership and teamwork, especially outside the classroom
  • Ability to use the following software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and other applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical personnel utilizing written and verbal skills, including presentations to small and large groups
