Hobart, part of the ITW Food Equipment Group, an Illinois Tool Works Fortune 200 company, is seeking a motivated intern to assist with a variety of IT support and infrastructure tasks to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, software deployment, and user support.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, antivirus software, and IT support tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with operating system upgrades and ensure devices meet current software standards.
- Support the deployment and removal of enterprise software across company devices.
- Help maintain and organize IT management tools and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Participate in tracking, documenting, and updating hardware and software inventories.
- Set up, configure, and distribute new hardware, including computers and mobile devices.
- Provide basic technical support to end users by resolving common IT issues.
- Assist in managing helpdesk tickets, escalating complex issues as needed.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
