Jabil is seeking an IT Intern to support the Information Technology team in daily operations, projects, and problem-solving, contributing to the efficient and secure functioning of their technology infrastructure within a global manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist IT support staff with troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Provide basic technical support for network connectivity, printing, and common application problems.
- Participate in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new IT equipment (e.g., computers, monitors, peripherals).
- Document IT processes, procedures, and inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Support IT projects by performing research, data entry, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion of access.
- Learn and apply IT best practices related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
